Seeing this is one of the, if not THE fiercest rivalry in English football, I thought the fixture times and dates would have been changed and confirmed within days of the fixture lists being released. I actually thought it would have been boths clubs and the Met Police's priorty to address what changes would be made. But so far, after changing the Crystal Palace match, and also changing certain fixtures earlier on, nothing has happened.

Can the game in September really go ahead at 3pm on a Saturday?

they will rearrange it much closer to the game, e.g. the week before as this will **** up a lot of people's plans for the day so limit the number who can actually make it <ok>

Let`s face it, no matter what day or time, it`s going to kick off big time at both games.
The way i see it the only option both clubs & OB have is to ban away fans, police it well, and choose a time that will please all necessary authorities.
Yes we all know fans will still try to attend and cause trouble in the local area. But if the clubs have been seen to be pro-active around the GROUND, they should escape any fines or other measures.
Can see both games being on TV or on screens at own grounds for the away fans
The way this game is handled will determine how the rest of both clubs season is dealt with re KO times & tickets and travel arrangements to games.
example Leeds & Cardiff away. Still on the bright side we have the Brummies away week before wet spam!

I really don't see why away fans need to be banned.

Yes the clubs hate each other, but we played them in the league a few seasons back and those games had no incidents that I can recall.

Or is it more a case of fear of retribution after the league cup game?

The Old Firm derby takes place about 16 times a season in Jockland - and people DIE at those ones. Does that mean that our fixture is worse?

If the rumours about the spoons in surrey quays on Saturday
are true, considering the season has'nt evev started, there is no
chance of away fans attending either game and most probably
11,30 kick off on a sunday morning.

If they don`t ban away fans can see this fixture being worse than the Birmingham riot.Remember a Millwall fan got stabbed last time we met, rightly or wrongly that will not go unpunished by some of our guys.Which our club and OB will surely want to avoid.

Well over the last couple of weeks there has been attempted offs between the two firms. Saturday there was an arranged meet at Surrey Quays, but one mob didnt turn up, again.

A ban on away supporters will just rile everyone so that pre-arranged meets like the one on saturday occur even more throughout the season, at some stage West Ham will get their act together and the two mobs will clash, it won't be a pretty sight thats for sure:evil:

6am kick off in Carlisle, tickets only available on the day from a service station in Cornwall between 4-5am.
