Gone back to Leicester. They want to assess his injury.

He's gone completely, we're not going to see him again.

No not surprised. Just cant understand why we've been paying for a crock for so long. Surely they must know how bad his injury is.

What a waste of time and effort on him. Obvious he would go back. Nigel you are a bitter and twisted baby. Put your dummy back in

Shame injury cut short his playing time here, looked like he could get us a few goals this season. But once NP went back to Leicester there was never really any chance of him staying.

I expect it will be confirmed officially tomorrow, the Leicester mob have had it confirmed on local radio tonight.

Like the one with Cooper the other day, it defies the loan rules we looked into.

Either there is some sort of dispensation you can get if the recall is best for all parties, or he will go back but technically remain on loan to us until Jan when he can play for them again (although I realise it's academic anyway because he's injured.)

listening to Shakers radio interview he wont be playing again til Jan at the earliest and maybe Lesta wont see him again well into at least the 2nd half of the season. Waghorn has history with hamstring injuries. Shame but we move on now. There are better & fit players out there.

I think there is a difference between the parent club recalling a loaned player (which they can't do for a 6 month loan) and both clubs agreeing to terminate the loan

Waghorn is still technically on loan with you. Just as he is injured as the parent club we can recall him for the period he is injured. Should he return to fitness before the end of the loan he would come back to you

But he wont be avalible until mid jan by the sounds of things so he will spend the rest of his loan period here with us

I thought AP said in a press conference that he couldn't officially go back until January.

He can't officially, but he can unofficially.

He's not going to play, so there's no point in him being with us, but he can't actually play for Leicester until his loan with us expires on Jan 3rd(which is somewhat academic, as he's not fit to play anyway).

No you obviously are. Nigel has gone.. get over it !! We've had Brian Little, Mark McGhee, Martin O'Neill and Gary Megson all poached in my time in watching City - management poaching happens.
