Shame, I always really liked him and thought he was quality here. Good luck to him http://www.lcfc.com/news/article/040414-waghorn-makes-wigan-switch-permanent-1467937.aspx
When he's on form he's ****ing awesome. But he needs a long run in the side for that to be the case and he's never been prolific enough when he does. So, I wish him well and I hope he enjoys his time in Wigan.
Very clever by the club. We signed Waggy for 2M rising to 3M on promotion Well Waggy is off our books before the promotion is confirmed saving us 1M
20 goals in 119 appears about says it all for me (Nugent has got close to that EACH season!). He was never as good as he was before he signed permanently. That said, he always worked hard and I don't think defenders like to play against him. He can make a name in the Championship, can't see him ever cutting it in the Prem.
Neil Danns, Sean St. Ledger, Paul Gallagher, Marko Futacs, Gary Taylor-Fletcher, Dean Hammond and Zoumana Bakoyogo will all be surplus with some of the it contracts expiring Add Kevin Phillips retiring and Ignasi Miquel going back to Arsenal aswell
Good lad, glad that hes getting regular games again, was never going to feature for us in the prem if he struggled to make the side in the Championship.
Haha Weeds, man I totally forgot about them. Funny how nobody really visits this board anymore. I guess what they say is true... It is lonely at the top!
