Just ben confirmed on the O/S that he's signed a new deal, will Robbie now follow suit or is he as good as gone?
Hope he goes Good news about Waggy though. Got a real fight for his place with Green- I'd personally like to see him play through the middle up top.
Super I think we've got a good chance of him playing there with only 3 forwards, which I'm happy about. Regarding Elliot I think Powell has as good as told him his not needed
Personally I'm more excited about the prospect of Hamer than I am disappointed about the demise of Rob. Just watched highlights of the 3-1 home defeat to Carlisle last season. I would say he was at fault for all 3 goals. No sense of positioning when dealing with long range shots and doesn't control his area enough. It is sad because he is a Charlton boy through and through, but this is football and we all want the best players playing for us. Robbie isn't one of the best. Not in this league, and (promotion permitting) certainly not in the Championship.
No amount of money could ever persuade me to live there *hopes nervously that no-one on this board lives in Hull
"From Hell, Hull and Halifax, may the Good Lord deliver us" - 18th Century saying Excellent news about Wagstaff - not a good pre-season, but this shows he's willing to fight for his place and that is what we're going to need this season - battlers, not bottlers.
