Thanks. I read the article now and it says they were supposed to be paid on Monday but they weren’t paid today. Something to do with an ‘overseas payment’ not clearing in the club’s account until Wednesday.
Maybe a little cash flow issue for Acun, but fortunately only a couple of days late. It shows we didn't have the funds available to pay the players salaries without additional funds being deposited from Turkiye.
Last week when orange and the others was saying wages were going to be paid late everyone jumped on them and said baz doesn’t know anything about it so it can’t be true.
It’s just you bullshitting because of your nefarious agenda. How dare you suggest daddy Acun isn’t the best owner in the world.
Wages paid late because of some sort of technical issue is often the first sign isn't it. They never admit it's because they were short of cash. And The Athletic are unlikely to be wrong.
The wording of the article plays it down a bit and almost seems to imply it's relatively normal. But it seems to me like whenever you hear about this happening it's always the start of something.
It wont though Not modern players Its compounded the loss now. Late payments is the first sign of cash flow issues
