What a fantastic way to finish the season. The nerves can calm down and we can enjoy the moment. What has happened to our football club? A manager who cares; who makes the right call more often than not; who has a dressing room which is bonding like never before; who plays his football the exciting way we want to watch. Loyal players. Players who have adapted and improved as the season progressed. Supporters who are returning in droves from the Big Sleep. An open management who actually respect us enough to tell us what is going on. A new owner with real money in his pocket. An owner who actually has a track record in the football world. A new stadium on the horizon (with quote; a couple of issues to sort out??) Bring it on!
Its amazing. It really is. After being use to the 'Ragbag Rovers' tag and believing we will never move up the leagues, we have a realistic chance of growing in every way possible. Under Higgs, with the plans for UWE and all their talk about being the next Swansea was all very hard to believe. I did believe we would get UWE though. But didnt think we would emulate Swansea's path. But with Wael and the team he has brought in, I can only see good times ahead. I really do.
