McGeeâs lob over the top released Wilson, who fired past the Râs number one with just eight minutes on the clock. The hosts quickly doubled their advantage on 16 minutes, as Wilson profited from Cheadleâs weak punch to stab home a second. A third wasnât far away as Rangers were hit on the counter-attack after Lorna Goverâs misplaced pass was intercepted by Shelly Cox. Coxâs driving run and pull-back from the left paved the way for Wilson to complete her hat-trick. Rangers battled bravely in the second period to restore some pride but couldn't force a consolation, instead gifting two further goals in the closing 16 minutes. Wilson headed home Gemma Hillierâs cross before McGee added gloss to the scoreline late on, smashing in a 25-yard free-kick to seal victory.
