Mig Elmo Bramble Turner Richardson Larsson Cattermole Gardner Vaughn Dong Wickham Looks like Ricco will be back at LB again
Sunderland: Mignolet, Elmohamady, Richardson, Turner, Bramble, Cattermole (C), Larsson, Gardner, Wickham, Dong-won, Vaughan. Subs: Pickford, Bardsley, Laing, Ferdinand, Malbranque, Colback, Sessegnon, Tounkara. Borussia M'gladbach: ter Stegen, Daems (C), Rupp, Camargo, Reus, Neustadter, Nordtveit, Hanke, Jantschke, Dante, Stranzl. Subs: Heimeroth, Brouwers, Herrmann, Bobadilla, Marx, Wendt, Leckie. Looks like Ricco in at left back and Vaughan on the left, with 2 up top, unless Connor is playing out left, forming a 4-5-1. Stadium looks fantastic.
yep I think your right mate Ricco at LB and Vaughan at LM LM needs addressing cannot have people plugging the gap till January at the earliest
Just getting used to playing with 10 men Mick, with Cattermole in our team we know we will have to do it at least half a dozen times this season.....
I remember a few seasons ago when, I think it was Roy Keane, took a player off in a friendly and didn't replace him to see what we played like with 10 men on the pitch.
Found a very brief report ... Titus Bramble was sent off as Sunderland ended their German tour with a goalless draw against Borussia Monchengladbach. Black Cats defender Bramble was given his marching orders 19 minutes from time for two bookable offences. Connor Wickham had Sunderland's best chance of the first half on the half-hour mark when he fired narrowly wide after being set up by strike partner Ji Dong-won. Bramble saw red on 71 minutes when he brought down Monchengladbach substitute Mathew Leckie on the edge of the box. Former Arsenal defender Havard Nortveit missed a great chance to put Monchengladbach in front soon after when he headed wide. Sunderland almost won it late on when Stephane Sessegnon saw his powerful shot kept out by Monchengladbach keeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen
With all the traumatic events from Norway, this is the first time I've thought about looking for our result today.. 0-0 with ten men against top class German opposition..
