Lets see what some of these youngsters are made of! We have to look and see if they can step up as we certainly have an injury problem at the moment and they may need to play in the league.

    right so.....

    player choices:

    Randall at RB
    Smith LB
    Brannagan?
Ojo? back only this week... any chance?
Kent? recalled, was it for this game or for u21s.
Teixteria? if not then he must leave the club.
Chirivella - must have a shot.

    enrique - i don't think so.

Toure will have to be hauled on to the pitch somehow.
We don't know if ilori was returend or not?

    Bogdan
    Randall Toure Lucas Smith
    Allen Branagan Can
    Ibe Benteke Teixteria

That puts firmino on bench as he's played quite a lot recently. Lallana had a brief rest last week but should be rested here on bench too. We will see ibe i think, no reason not to as he's come off bench mostly.

Ojo and pedro on the bench no?

Sky reporting that Toure, Lovren and Coutinho won't be fit for this game.

You're may be fit for next week, Lovren will be 2 weeks and Coutinho won't be fit until the beginning of February.

ok so then we have to assume some move will have to be made in the next 24 hours for subotic on loan or something.

I suppose we could see can and lucas at CB <laugh>

do we know what was up with sahko? I didn't pay attention really, just know it was a knee issue.

oh wait... I see a note on itv sport about ilori having been recalled

so lets say ilori is fit to play. we've no idea what condition he is in.

Its thursday... I don't think anyone signed can play friday. So even if subotic turned up we could not register him in time... isn't there something about friday registration for weekend? I dunno can anyone clarify..

Does klopp think he's got to play the senior full backs and risk them in this game to help ilori come in or what?

I dunno. can one day drilling help randall, smith, lucas and ilori form some semblance of a defence?

If he is to come in and play then Exeter would be a good starting point.

must be as the game is nominally a weekend game moved for TV. it would require an FA dispensation.
