Chaps, some advice needed. I really am struggling with trying to get good streams for non-televised games. Tried Firesticks and now a Leelbox, which are sound to get what I've already got (I may even ditch my SkySports as I get such a good picture - I may keep BT as I get it free anyway with Virgin XL), but streaming US and Australian channels for the games has been dire. I always end up just going to Proxy First Row and dodge the adds and downloads and half the games. Now, my nephew is back from OZ for a couple of months for Chrimbo and my sister's wedding. He's offered me his OZ account number for the games, but says I'll need a VPN. Are they easy to set up? Will it work anyway? Is it worth it? If it does work, why aren't are relatives from Oz, NZ, Canada, the US, etc hawking this stuff all the while if it's that easy? Could I directly get an account from another country anyway if I had a VPN? If I had a smart TV with Android, could I not just do all this through the telly? Advice from you young technical people, please. PS, just PM me if this is illegal and makes the MODS nervous.
By the way, you need full concentration for Shadows of the Mind. Don't be reading other books at the same time
Probably! Talking of which, it's my Lab's 6th birthday today. Couldn't get him a knuckle bone from the butcher's, but he got to hump his best mate, Monty the chocky Lab, when we had our walk. Ugh, it's like Brokeback Mountain with them...
There's loads of sites that offer VPN's on a trial basis and then a monthly fee. I'm assuming that it'll have to be an Oz IP to gain access to his account? Most sites give you the choice of country that you require.
Wait for a lifetime offer for price of a year or two. Will save you money long-term and you see them fairly frequently.
Its not illegal, they are openly available on google play store, I use Opera's free VPN on my tablet and Kodi Box but Australia ain't one of the 5 different countries available to connect to. I know it works because when I'm connected to the US VPN an advert for American fast food or department stores etc appears at the top of the BBC football website when I'm on there.
Everyone I use has slowed down my connection, I used to use Opera didn't know they had a free VPN. Is it built in and how does it work with the Android box?
For PC's and laptops Opera's VPN is included in the desktop version, the android version is sound for me tbh and doesn't slow the system down One thing that usually does slow down kodi boxes down is not cleaning the kodi thumbnails, they eat up the memory.
Just get opera VPN from playstore on your kodi box and run it from there, thumbnail cleaner is available on some builds but if its not on yours get onto the " get more programs " option on Kodi and you should find it there gonz.
i would say any foreign account in general is more than worth it if you can get it. simply cos all matches are available. Us has 50 times better service than we do even if pundits are sad. germany has better access too. The thumbnails thing is a good call btw. its like anything, loads of shortcuts etc and the computer has to search trhough etc.
US TV Now is a good site, just sign up and say you're from the US and you have the NBC channel in HD most Liverpool games are on there.
ok i just signed up on it... soooooooo... you say nbc would have most LFC matches? they bounce around some i think so if i have the "basic" free package cos i am in the us... do i get most?
