Vote and Win: Player of the Season

Hi NUFC fans,

I'm the administrator at NUFCfans.co.uk, a NUFC fans website. As of this morning, I've been running a competition on the website - It asks fans to vote for their player of the season and then win the chance to present the award at the West Brom game. Tiote, simply because he has been awesome and it's his first year in English football.

We've seen so many "world class" players come to the EPL and struggle to settle in. Tiote has been immense from the start.

 

Also voted Tioté, think I was the first vote when it was put up

 

Coloccini, because I'd want to present the award to him because he is a beautiful man.

Quality that a fan gets to present it.

 

Tiote will be most peoples choice but it would be nice if the the three amigo's got some sort of recognition too.

 

All of them have so far Jonas is more important than many people think imo.

 

I agree. Tiote is our player of the year, followed by Coloccini and then Barton.

As a side note I'd like to say thanks to everyone at NUFCfans on twitter. You are brilliant at getting the team news first and giving us good reliable information on all things Newcastle, so cheers

 

It's between Tiote and Barton for me. Tiote has been excellentin his first season in the prem, but Barton has been the team's guiding light this season, and without him we would not be where we are now.

 

Only 1.1% of people have voted Enrique. I think his vote would be a lot higher if we didn't all think he was leaving in the summer.

 

Without a doubt. Could also be the thought that we could have done nearly as well with someone else at LB, but no way near as well without Tiote, Barton etc.

Thanks aginairrr and No Way Past Jose (apologies too, lol - was curious myself as to low vote for Enrique) - the club has been really cooperative and impressed with the fans following on twitter, so keep on supporting the lads and the club will listen to you.

Tiote has been awesome so he gets my vote, I just wish he would stop getting yellow cards. Hopefully he will improve on that next season.

 

Think somebody bumped the fake Jose off. Guess the old ja ja ja's was just too much for them to take!

 

It was between Nolan, Barton, Collo, Tiote and Enrique 4 or 5 weeks ago. Now I'm goin for Collo because the other 4 have tailed off in the last few matches or so, and colloccini has been consistently quality.
