    Vorm 'Can't Wait' To Sign For Swansea on Thursday


    FC Utrecht goalkeeper Michel Vorm says he 'cannot wait' to join Swansea City on Thursday following his international duty with Holland on Wednesday as the World Cup runners-up face England.

    The 27 year-old shot stopper, who is number 2 choice for the Holland team, says he is ready for something else after spending 6 years at his current club.

    Vorm said he'll be joining an ambitious club:

    'I'm ready for something else. I can not wait,'

    'It's an ambitious club. They are enthusiastic and play constructive football from the back. They come from the Premier League. Surely there are few leagues that are better,'

    Swansea City have had a fee of around £1.6m agreed for Vorm and the goalkeeper has been tipped as a major coup for Brendan Rodgers as he moves closer to completing his squad ready for the Premier League season.

    Michel Vorm is expected to arrive in Swansea on Thursday to put pen to paper on a three year deal at the Liberty Stadium.

    Its Vorming up now.. seems like we may have our No1 by this afternoon.

    Dutch international Vorm, 27, is due at the Liberty Stadium for talks today following the cancellation of the Netherlands&#8217; Wembley clash with England last night.
