Visiting other sites

This may be a very stupid question but being new to the site i wondered if /how I could look at Watford not 606.

The reason being that I just went into notifications & saw that a poster went by the name of Scullion.

I doubt that it would be my childhood hero, Stewart Scullion of Chesham United, Watford & Sheffield United fame but if it was I would like to communicate with him.

I'm assuming that I couldn't use the private message facility unless he was a member of the Queens Park Rangers board but I may be wrong.

Could some one please advise me?

I posted because as new to this board I didn't know if I could send personal messages or view other club boards.

Yes, I know that the chances of it being Stewart Scullion or relation are very remote but I have been trying to contact him for a while now. It is very important to me in my fight against depression & closure from my sisters death in 1967. Yes, 46 years ago & only now getting over it & no, Stewart had nothing to do with her death.

At the age of 60, I think I'm beyond licking the backside of anybody but I'm so pleased that replying with sarcasm was of help to yourself!

I saw a post about an unlikely link to a Watford player by a man that says he hates Watford.

I saw a query about going into boards that you have to click past every time you want to come to the QPR board.

I assumed WUM (wind up merchant).

Your comments, although suggestive, were by no means conclusive and it was wrong on my part to make the assumptions when your request was innocent and genuine.

I'm sorry for what I said and hope you find what you're looking for.

Thanks for the apology & I, of course, gladly accept it.

As far as I know, I don't go past the other boards when I log on. I just hit QPR not 606 in my favourites & that takes me straight into the site with being logged on. I had assumed that I could send messages to other members of the Rangers board but did not know that I could to any not 606 member.

Intersting that your location is Ipswich. I moved to suffolk in '74 & have lived in the county town since '79!

It always comes as a bit of a surprise how many R's live in the area.

Up to this season I always went to the Bush by car, but now have started using my senior railcard discount & travel by the luxury of Greater Anglia Trains!

Perhaps we'll meet at the station sometime, providing the roadworks havn't stopped us arriving there!

A fellow ST holder, three seats from me in the Upper Loft, is also nearby at Woodbridge.

Stewart Scullion was one of my favourite players to wear the Watford shirt - many of the posters on all boards use the name of players or ex players in their user names. Stewart Scullion the ex player now lives in Hampshire (Lymington I think) whereas our Scullion is located in Scotland. All posters can use the boards of other clubs (otherwise I wouldn't be on here now) all you have to do is click on forum, the championship or English football at the top of the page - and then look down and click on the club. I don't know about private messages to people on other boards - I think it works but I've never tried it.
