    Sunderland AFC defender Santiago Vergini has joined Argentinian side Club Atletico Boca Juniors in a permanent move, for an undisclosed fee.

    Vergini, who was loaned to Getafe last season, returns to his homeland after making 51 appearances for the Black Cats since initially joining on loan in 2014.

    Just didn't have the pace for the premier league......hope we got nearly all our money back that we paid for him.....less the deduction for his own goal bonus at Southampton.....lol
