Reports confirm he wanted to sell or loan out Cardiff city striker Federico Macheda, The club are paying him massive wages and he's either been injured or doesn't seem really up for it when he does get game time and isn't producing ie scoring goals, especially as he's one of the top earners at the club on around £25k a week. With him off the wage bill that's another £1.3m which would help us with our FFP transfer embargo. :afro:

Not saying this because it's Macheda but you'd have a problem sacking someone due to health issues, also if you could I'm sure he'd point to a lack of opportunities at a tribunal. You end up paying him his contract and damages/costs.
Need to catch him doing something illegal if you want to sack him. Didn't Chelsea sack a £13m striker for snorting coke years ago (Mutu?) ? I'm pretty sure they sued the ****er for their losses when he tried to get his career going again too. <ok>
