Villarreal striker Guiseppe Rossi is keen to move to Barcelona, according to his agent. Goal.com reports that the Italy international is hoping to seal a switch to the Camp Nou this summer, but that Barcelona are yet to make an official bid for him. Rossi's agent Federico Pastorello has confirmed that his client wants to make the move. The transfer is now dependant on the Catalan giants firming up their interest with a formal offer. The 24-year-old is a target for the likes of Inter Milan, Juventus and Barcelona after some splendid performances for the Yellow Submarine last season. Pastorello made not secret of Rossi's preferred destination and tried to flush-out any potential interest from Barca. He told Premium Calcio said: "It would be a dream for Giuseppe to play for a big club like Barcelona. However, there is nothing concrete at the moment. "It is very important that Barcelona give some sort of a signal of their intentions. I think that we can reach an agreement if they make a formal offer for Giuseppe." Pastorello also confirmed there was interest from elsewhere for the ex-Manchester United youngster. He added: "Several teams have made their interest known. There are also a few Italian sides among the interested outfits."
Very good player, although I thought that Barca would prioritise Fabregas as they don't have a large budget, for their standards, this season
