I know what you mean, But I watched the game yesterday, they played really well, just cannot see them going down now. They have momentum.

I agree with Flanders, they're riding a wave right now, could work out good for you lot, as they have Burnley at home, a game I'd have given Burnley every chance of 3 points in if Lambert was still in charge of Villa.

Dont disagree that they have momentum and played well vesterday but city nevt then everton who also have momentum could put them right back in the mire. They then still have southampton away. By the time it comes to burnley on last day of season both might need the points and villa wiii definitely be thinking of wembley

Villa AND Leicester have upwards momentum. We have the other kind, sadly.

It's 3 out of us, QPR, Hull & Burnley for the drop IMO.

My latest predictions (complete guesses) using a predictor are:
Hull to get 1 more point, finishing on 29
Burnley to get 6 more points finishing on 32
QPR to get 6 more points finishing on 32
Sunderland to get 6 more points finishing on 35*
Leicester to get 8 more points finishing on 36
Villa to get 11 more points finishing on 43

    * A win against Stoke and draws against Southampton, Everton and Leicester

I guess every fan on here is saying "I'll take that" - Just hope Villa's eyes aren;t taken off the ball when the play Burnley - If I was managing a team playing cup finalists, I'd be saying "Good hard challenge in the first five minutes - everyone wants to play in a cup final" Making sure they are "watching their own backs" for the rest of the game! Can;t imagine Dyche isn;t going to use this tactic and we should be using it against Arsenal as well

Sherwood is all about Tim Sherwood, he'll be putting the b-team out for that, saying "go on lads, earn your spot in the squad".

If he plays Benteke and he gets injured, he'll never forgive himself.

Arsenal should be the same, assuming they don't go into FA Cup final mode too early, as they should have guaranteed 3rd by the time you lot play them.

6 points in 6 games isn't too optimistic. I'd be very surprised if you didn't win at least one of your last 6 (yes a few tough ones there but also two nice home games - Southampton are going to get to the point where they have nothing to play for soon). Your away games are pretty bad but Everton and Stoke have nothing to play for and potentially Arsenal and Chelsea will be the same by the time you go there.

It's not about league position its about desire. Leicester are the only team you are due to play who need the win as much as you do, I actually think that's pretty good for you.

This is where the money is going.

    QPR vs West Ham
    CPFC vs Hull
    Burnley vs Leicester

A safe bet that Sunderland will be in the bottom 3 if Stoke beat you at the weekend.

Edit: Maybe not a 'safe bet' but certainly not a outside chance.

With that in mind, I'd park the bus at Stoke and play for a bore draw, lots of results have to go against you in that scenario for you to end up in the bottom 3 whilst taking a point.

Well its certain Sunderland would drop one place as either Leicester or Burnley are mathematically certain to go above them if they lose. So it's just if Hull get any result (draw or win) OR QPR get a win against a shoddy looking West Ham.

I don't think Sunderland will go down but I reckon at the end of the weekend there will be 1 point separating the bottom 5.

Only if there's a winner in that match, so it's not certain.

Edit: Yeah you're right, even a draw would put Leicester above them, a win for either team would do the same.

We can't afford to think like that though, the league doesn't end thsi weekend. Looking at the rest of our fixtures, Stoke looks to be one of the more "winnable" ones. We need to aim for 3 points imo.

If we go along with the idea that we just need to stay one point ahead of the pack each week we'll be ****ed in the last 2 weeks.
