after watching villas game on monday, they need to strengthen, there squad is so thin its unbelievable villa were 3/4 players away from being a big team but not they are average midtable team. i dont understand how everton can keep hold of cahill, jagialka and fellaini etc and villa cant keep hold of nobody. look at the england squad a notice how many players played or now play for villa. that chairmen needs to buck up his ideas because villa have potential. in my eyes villa could so so easily be that team that win europa league all the time. and from there no one do you agree ??? if you were villa boss with around 40 mill to spend who would you get ???

Villa have some good youngsters coming through and I think you should concentrate on keeping them on long contracts and nurturing them. Villa are suffering from massively overspending in the past, although £20mill on Bent suggests that Lerner hasn't necessarily learnt his lesson, contrary to his name.
agreed we should look to keep are best youngster yh but as other teams have shown you need to over spend slightly. all the bigger teams do it, spurs over spend massively, an they got in cl an did well. an deffo we need to get rid of the manager lol. i think he can steady villa of field but on field he cant, he signs the worst players ( he buys players who have failed in the epl hoping they can come back an do amazing (martins and helb as an example)
