... WTF? It's Thursday tomorrow and the decent people on this forum are pacing around like expectant fathers in the waiting room. In the meantime the waster who pulls in all our subs is swanning around the Italian Lakes. Sorry but, enough is enough, we deserve better. So here's the official match thread. "Sunderland will play the same side that beat Brentford, Le Fée is back in and Villa are shyte .., ... the match officials are shyte and my two pennorth is a three nowt win for the Lads." Ha'way!!!
To be fair, people said every ex-Sunderland/ex-Newcastle player was nailed on to to score against us last season ... ... do you know how many did or have done this season
Bloody typical, I thought time was knocking on a bit. Very informative content and efficient mode of presentation by the way. Bit like Teletext if I may venture so bold.....
I feel like the defence is the strongest part of the team so far and Ballard will need to be patient when fit again never mind O'Nien. Although Seelt didn’t exactly make mistakes the step up since the new lads have come in has been massive, Alderete has been class imo and Mukiele has impressed in these early stages. From what I've seen and heard from other fans Geertruida is the most highly rated of the lot aswell! I think the goal was to have a couple of options in every single position to allow rotation and imo the place where may e they didn't quite get what they planned is wingers but still think with Mundle coming back, Traore coming in anf the option to play isidor left or mayenda right means we still have options. The window was excellent and I have no inside info or owt but I reckon Neil might be kicking himself as I get the impression he held off on the contract offer thinking he would get a prem offer after we failed to go up. The reality is it didn't come and since getting in the league and seeing rhe quality of player we have signed I don't see him getting many minutes for us never mind a transfer to this league and as a result I think he is in a weak footing to negotiate any new deal and he probably wishes he signed it when first offered! Which by thr way is the opposite of what I would have said if asked at any point last season, I would have insisted he was ready and we were desperately needing to keep hold of him. The new lads have opened my eyes.
