    Having a proper ball.

I think Newcastle thought they'd be on the beach, but I doubt they'd expected all the beach balls.

They're celebrating like they've won the league as they heard Sunderland are beating Chelsea. <laugh>

They'd planned to do this anyway. I'm on me phone so I can't put the video up of their fans celebrating a corner recently, but it is hilarious.

The sense of humour among football fans is amazing.

We should do something with a bit of humour. I know everything's ****, but what about everyone doing that walk like an Allam tango style, whilst holding up a red card.

    Mental I know :emoticon-0140-rofl:

They sang "You're going down with the Villa" throughout the match. They booed their own centre backs for the whole game. The beach ball protest was a point well made but the introduction of an inflatable crocodile and a blow up doll (male variant) somewhat confused the issue.

Oh, and both teams were **** and will be playing Championship football next season.

NUFC got relegated at Villa in 2009 when Shearer was manager- not a happy place for them.
Shame SAFC may stay up- their gravity defying escapes have to end sooner or later.

If Sunderland stay up they'll be a mid-table team under Allardyce.

They'd already be a mid table Championship team without Defoe.

Yes but they have Defoe and he'll give Allardyce the breathing space he needs to build a decent team.
