Richards is not a right midfielder I would suggest that he is better up front than Clarkson who appears to be there just to pick up the cheque,most fans around me think that he was cheap for a reason however perhaps he will regain his confidence and match fitness to prove the managers faith was right.....why he took off Richards instead of Clarkson who was by then blown out I will never know? Lee Brown had a woeful game unable to provide any support for Paterson (who was way off the pace) or incisive runs breaking down the left yawn. Any crosses or shots well we had 3,were easily caught by there goalkeeper. i wont be there tuesday but will be there again next saturday. dont know why mind. your right about the players above. not sure why mcghee was chasing a striker all summer - the same striker constable. willing to pay £200k for him then after 3 failed bids that we know of, he decides on no striker and says richards needs to step up and take that responability. that means mcghee play him up front not not out wide out of position FFS. we looked comfortable 1st half without doing anything in final 3rd. 2nd half, well we all know who had the most motivational team talk out of both managers. we showed nothing at all. bbc stats shows we had 7 shots on target. did they count crosses in with shots as i dont recall 7 attempts at all.
Hi CJ I off to have my mind erased suggest BB pops down the Arnie clinic too. As for the shot count they must have been watching a different game or they happened when I nodded off in the second half. Agree about the striker comment my view is that we need at least 1 more as Richards has not yet got the managers confidence hence the midfield starting position and we have possibly not got the time patience or inclination to wait for Clarkson to regain form and hit the target with venom!!
