not a bad outing at all with City getting most of the chances. The woodwork was well and truly rattled a good few times and we defended superbly....

The back four were immense, Marshall flawless, midfield strong, forwards need a bit of work!!!

Conway was AWESOME, Mason had a great game as did Taylor and Gestede was busy.

Earnie was fairly quiet but there were moments of flash brilliance that we have really missed since in recent years...

All in all, a very entertaining game and we really should have taken a win but I'm a lot more positive for seeing that today

Agree Concerned. I though this was an excellent performance with the team working so well for each other and the big plus for me was the fact that we have returned to playing football. For the last couple of years there have been too many hoof it up front and hope for the best long balls so it's great that Malky has got the team playing a proper passing game. All the players you mentioned played well but Whittingham for me ran the game. He just finds so much space. I just hope that the forward combination, whatever that might be, will start knocking in some goals as I think we look sound in the other areas of the park. I was up in the Ninian as well, and I know it was a small crowd, but wasn't it encouraging to hear Malky yelling out instructions from the other side of the pitch. It's been a while since we heard that encouragement from the dugout!
