Both goals from crosses, something we sorely lacked before, glad to see the clear change in tactics but surprised it took this long.

1st wasnt pretty but you get chances if you put it into dangerous areas.

I didn't appreciate yesterday how good the build up play was for Austin's goal starting with great control by Phillips from Green's punt up field.

 

Charlie Austin is a very good player.

 

It was a great first touch by Phillips.........something I've commented that he is lacking in the past. Great desire from Austin to get into the box after laying the ball off too.

 

Matty Phillips is too. that control and pass was sublime

 

Last-gasp winners such as Austin's can have a tangible effect on a team's fortunes.

 

Have to say that second goal was superb. It was an awesome take by Phillips to control the ball and then quick passing let Simpson just glide the ball to Austin. Brilliant.

 

Actually, I think it was O'Neill who laid the ball out to Simpson so well done to him too.
