That was hard to watch. I have bought those teddies for grandchildren over the years, and they now sit on shelves in bedrooms of healthy, robust kids. Seeing parents with sick children always gets to me, and reminds me how fortunate I have been. As the season draws to a close, it's good to be reminded that it is just football.
Absolutely. Seeing kids without or suffering with poor health is always something that gets to me. Ill never forget the time I spent in Kenya with the Saints Foundation and the plight of the kids we saw there. I am always grateful for the good health of my kids. As you know Lambo, I have a mate not quite so fortunate.
It must be hard for players, esp if they have kids. My boy finds it hard to shake off chest infections and it rips my heart out sometimes, yet when he goes to hospital and you see all those that are worse off you kinda think how lucky you are
