Not the greatest video, but thought it may interest those who perhaps weren't able to see it first time! DTLW
Excellent, DTLW. Next time let's not have it off the screen, but off the signal, eh..? [picky bugger ]
He later said: "Southampton are playing some of the best football in the division." He went on to say he thinks we will continue to improve and comfortably avoid relegation.
I never really use to like Neville as a player, thought he was a bit of a pretentious twat but since he has become a pundit my opinion has changed. I think he is easily one of if not the best out there.
I think he wanted to mention Lambert should be in the England fold. But restrained himself knowing he's an England coach.
Thanks for that as I missed it. Gary Neville is a good analyzer of games which is why he will be good for England. He doesn't seem as dazzled by a teams fame as other pundits. He appreciates our style and says so. P.s. next time, DTLW, please refrain from eating crisps during recording
The most useless pundit on the TV. He is knowledgeable, acknowledges team's strengths rather than simply defer to their big name, and even has the audacity to praise a smaller club when it is lucky enough to catch a big club on a bad day. He'll get nowhere with that attitude. Mark Lawrenson has nothing to fear. Great post!
I think Neville is brilliant when he is analysing a game like in the clip above. However, when he is one of the commentary team he completely changes the way he speaks. Its like he can't utter a sentence longer than 3 words. It can't be nerves, perhaps he just needs a few moments to consider what he says. Great post though, missed it yesterday.
When Neville drew the line in to show that Cech wasn't unsighted, did I detect a little move to the left to see if you could get it lined up DTLW? That's the kind of thing I catch myself doing!
Does the TV have a signal through put..? I was kidding earlier, but you could make a mental note to plug the camera into the TV to catch these little jewels in broadcast quality. Or do you have a HDD recorder where you can just press the record button..? I mean, it must take a little while to get the camera sorted, so you could just reach for the HDD's remote, if you have one. Just a suggestion.
