I had a cheat version of Sensible World of Soccer that give you a million every time you pressed 'M'

Earlier versions were called Kick Off if I remember correctly

Jeez it's like Quantum Leap for computer games, now that was a blast from the past. Couldn't afford a Spectrum 48k. Had to wait but got a Atari ST then Amiga 1200. Or was it the other way round<confused><confused>. Just got my PS4 on Friday - Lush!

i have to say i love gaming. i got hooked when i was about 4 and started with the atari. since then i have had pretty much every console (even the less populer ones like the mega cd and dreamcast). im now 33 and still gaming, i got 2 day 1 xbox ones and got my playstation on friday. its loads better then sitting watching mind numming soaps or reality tv. a lot of people think gamers waste thier lives but its keeping a lot of rowdy teenagers off the streets.

last night shows brought back some good memorys. like sitting waiting for 5 minutes while your spectrum game loaded and that horrible noice it made. but then you had games like manic miner, bolder dash, arkanoid and jet set willie that were immence, **** graphics but class gameplay. then things like settlers and champ manager on the amiga used to take up loads of my time. its a shame the modern day games can be clocked so quickly but then i suppose you have the multiplayer side of things now which mean you can keep getting play out of games months after you have finished the single player campaign
