I had a vetrectomy on my eye five weeks ago and still have problems with my vision, such as double vision and blurred vision i was told i would be ok in 2 weeks after opp but still no better vision.
I have fuchs hetrochromic iridiocyclytis syndrome , so i was wondering if anyone else has had this opp and how they recovered i am crapping myself as my job depends on my sight.

I think you're better off going to see your doctor then asking on a internet football forum.

Can't offer any advice but good luck and I hope that your recovery rate improves quickly.

As has already been said, you need to talk to someone medical.

It's obviously quite a rare condition: when I googled it, this thread was the second hit.

I thought you had done something to a vet! I can imagine how worrying it is, particularly with it being your eyesight. I would definitely recommend returning to the docs. Just as a side note, a work colleague had laser surgery on his eyes. From memory it took him much longer to have full vision than expected (months in this case) he also had double vision and dare not drive at night.

So, that in mind it may just take longer if you're older - even though that's a presumption?

    Best of luck anyway.

What does it matter what we reply, you won't be able to read it anyway.
