I posted very occasionally on the old 606 and at one stage exchanged nostalgia with Old NickyB I have enjoyed reading the posts of the regulars on here but did not feel it fair to comment on TP his tactics and team selection since all I see are the short edited highlights on MOTD I have supported the Mighty Potters since 1956 when I was allowed to sit on my Dad's knee in the Butler Street stand. I will not bore you at least for now with my many memories including playing for Stoke Juniors with the great Denis Smith. Almost inevitably the Waddo years are my favourite with so many cultured players my absolute favourite being the charismatic Calvin Palmer So for now just looking forward to seeing the lads live on TV tonight and dreaming of a bacon egg sausage and brown sauce oatcake For those who remember - Zigger Zagger for a result and a proud performance StokieinSpain
Hola StokieinSpain, Good to hear from you again, as you have seen a lot of the regulars are on here, including the 'usual suspect' old fogeys!!! - sorry guys!! How are things with you, OK I hope, OK this end, short term memory loss some times but can still remember 100 years ago. Still not TP's biggest fan, despite everything, leopards changing spots and old dogs and new tricks come to mind. Not a bad season so far eh?? All the best and post soon ONB
