evening all. i was wondering why we are not making any approaches for fresh talent.and before you say it i know our squad is strong, i do believe now is the time to be buying. look at citeh they've just bought fernandinho, and they've not even got a manager in place yet.i know we haven't officially.but moyes will have had a word about what he wants.i mean hes taken all his everton staff and sacked saf's.i just hope that in the english transfer window ,that he doesn't sell all our players and brings in the everton squad or we will be ****ed:< im hoping rooney stays aswell, because if he leaves during our transfer time, who would we get to fill his place.all the big names will have been sold by then?
I think it will stay quiet until pre season starts and Moyes gets a better look at the squad. Would be happy if we only signed a decent centre mid, I do think we should try and get Bale though, can't hurt to offer.
From my understanding of our transfers, Leighton Baines seems a done deal and will go through after July 1st. Guillermo Valarela is pretty much done just a signature, fee and contract where agreed at end of the season. Garay from Benfica was agreed apparently a few months ago by Fergie and is still going through. Kevin Strootman, all the rumours seem to say it's all but done for approx £10m. All of these are subject to speculation, media, Moyes decision but all seem viable. As for Rooney I can't see him leaving think once Moyes is back and pre-season starts it will be all sorted. All of this is just imo.
Well I wouldn't the club to sign someone without Moyes analyzing where we need to improve. I imagine after a week or two of training Moyes will be able to make an educated decision on what he should be doing in the transfer market. With Rooney at the forefront of the new kit release, it seems the club are planning on him sticking around. It may all be a smokescreen to divert the media attention away from the club. Moyes has had a knack for singing up lesser known players and turning them into better players with his limited budget at Everton. It'll be interesting to see what he does with money to spend. Will he use the same policy he had at Everton? Or will he attempt to sign an already world class talent or players on their way to being world class.
Making decisions based on what Sky say is more Roman's style. "Oooh, Sky say Torres is great, me must buy now!"
Ronaldo Bale Strootmen Lewandowski Thiago Baines Fellaini Fabregas Who we are linked with this summer Take Thaigo and Ronaldo and Fellaini on the cheap plus a few squad players like the young lad we just signed.
Don't ****ing start that ****ing **** over here. I get too much of that from my own, never mind you shower jumping on the ****ing bandwagon
SAF did say we would be making a "big signing" so hopefully Moyes agrees and it is 1 out of 3 of Fabregas, Ronaldo and Bale
