http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/20107284 Honest, positive comments about City. Don't often hear managers speak with this level of honesty, don't think his chairman will appreciate it though.
Correctomundo. Lots of praise for us. I thought he was quite interesting and I liked listening to him, I don't think he'll be at Barnsley much longer. Rumours of Blackpool interested, and if they are he'll go. He's doing a good job there on nowt.
"Steve Bruce is shopping for Louis Vitton, I've got to go to primemark..." Have to agree though, City were average yesterday, but that was all we needed to beat Barnsley. The challenge now is to start playing well against better quality opposition.
I like Keith Hill - refreshingly honest and very praisewothy of us in his post match interview.. He even said he would fancy the Blackpool job.. reckon the locals have given him some stick but is quick to point out he's managing on a show string budget compared to us and most of the NPC..
He is though the second manager in the space of a month to lose to us and then get asked in an interview about his future at the club.
SSN have Pompey manager Michael Appleton as fav, then Keith Hill with Steve Thompson(caretaker) making up the top 3 for Blackpool job.
They've effectively already given the job to Appleton, but they're refusing to pay the £200k compo that Pompey are demanding, despite having received £500k for Holloway. That Oyston doesn't like parting with his cash.
