Will Harbour Watch turn out to be as good as Canford Cliffs? Richard Hughes thinks he's the best juvenile he's ridden this season.

As you say, it's very early days. The Hannon 2yo's don't look as strong as they did last year so when Hughes says that Harbour Watch is the best juvenile he's ridden this season, it mightn't be saying very much. Having said that, he did the job well at Goodwood. Looking forward to seeing where he goes next.

Well Canford Cliffs was very good horse, but he wasn't any sort of superstar, personally I feel Makfi's best form over a mile was superior to CCs as 3yos whilst as a 4yo CC has been well put in his place by Frankel.

Could Harbour Watch be as good? Ofcourse he could. I think he has a fair chance of going one better than CC and winning a G1 as a juvenile. As things stand he is the best juvenile I've seen, though like you say it's still early days, the best 2yos tend to make there debuts around about this time of year
