Just simply outdone by Leicester. Can we say it's just because the best team in form team in the league visited us today?

To a degree, but we were just lack luster. We couldn't create anything.

I think Tiote coming off wasn't very good for us. He did well early on, and Wijnaldum + Anita is a really weak CM pair that couldn't cope with Leicester.

    Ratings -

Elliot - 7 - Some good saves, stopped us from being absolutely humiliated.

Janmaat - 3 - Caught out defensively and some really sloppy passing at times.

Colo - 3 - Played Leicester players onside all day. Poor.

Mbemba - 5 - Not bad, but done by an in form Vardy a couple of times. Some good running and energy at times though.

Dummett - 2 - Just get rid please. Awful.

Sissoko - 5 - Some good runs, our best route forward, but couldn't create much.

Tiote - N/A - Really missed him when he went off.

    Anita - 3 - Destroyed.

Wijnaldum - 3 - Anonymous in the middle

    Thauvin - 2 - ****e

    Mitrovic - 3 - Couldn't impact the game.

Perez - 4 - Some good runs, but didn't really threaten Leicester.

    Cisse - 2 - Anonymous

    De Jong - n/a

McClaren - 2 - Completely got it wrong. I've defended him before but I can't defend him today.

I'm a bit worried, but we'll see how next game goes.

Not much to argue with there Tash.

The only difference to the scoring I'd make would be to drop Janmaat to a 2 as well - Dummett was ****e but Janmaat was just as ****e. Also I'd give Sissoko a 6. Not because he was great but simply cos he was the one player (apart from Elliot) who at least looked like he was trying - though that is based on what the camera showed us. it might have looked different for those at the game.

I thought Sissoko was absolutely shocking today. On the bus home from the game

you can't be hypocritical. If Mbemba's name was Yanga Mbiwa, today he would have scored 0 or 1. Colo, maybe a 2 because at least he competed with the strikers and made some intercepts. Dummett can't register a single point because playing with 10 would have benefitted us. Eliot should have stopped the first, the third, and maybe even the second. Made two good saves so let's call it 2 as well. Perez at 4 about right. Anita, Sissoko and the rest get 1.

Can anyone explain to me why for each goal kick Anita stood on the edge of the box in the middle whilst facing our goal. Firstly, he was in no position to receive the ball as he would either need to turn once getting the ball or turn before getting the ball to see who was closing him down.

Secondly, he never moved forward with the ball to go past or commit any Leicester players as opposed to making a sideways pass usually to Janmatt. He failed to bring the ball out. What makes him think he can pass to Janmatt better than Elliott? Also this caused the speed of attack to be pitifully slow.

Also, he has the ability to slow forward movement partly by taking too many small touches and his best ability to run towards the player he intends to pass to before passing thereby bringing the player closing him down with him, allowing another opposition to close down the player being passed to and alerting everyone where the ball is going to.

Did not see the Bournemouth game but in this one Anita managed to demonstrate a level of ability equalled only by Dummett today. Anyone giving Anita more than constant abuse for that performance should be heading straight to Specsavers.

It's because he's ****e mate. I can't think of a single useful contribution he's made for us since he signed. Another complete waste of money. Mind you, McLaren wants to be shot with ****e for putting him in the team in the first place. We must be the only team in the league who picks a midget who can't tackle as a midfield enforcer. Defensive midfielder my arse. The only problem is he offers absolutely nothing in attack either. He's got a great attitude though apparently so he should definitely keep playing and helping us to lose games.

Can't remember mate although I was at the game, but the result made no difference to us staying up as it happens. I've never liked him as a player. He just doesn't do enough.

I would not disagree with the criticisms here but surely the quality of the opposition should be given more weight, If you discount Sunderland I think any team in the premier league would have struggled to beat them on the day

Not the first time our fans have said this, but if we have lost to superior opposition and seen the players put in a proper shift then fair enough. And the comments after several games this season (including the loss at Sunderland, where we played well) have been quite reasonable and shown patience with the team and manager. If they trot about the pitch and don't try to close players down or just generally don't make any effort at all then they will get slated and rightly so. The team has regressed into some very bad, old habits in the last couple of games - just like the second half of last season, players not trying and heads going down when we go behind. It isn't acceptable and it's not the fans being harsh or knee-jerking.
