Yes it still hurts and no I won't ever get over it. We still owe Wimbledon for Wembley. One of the worst Argyle days of my life. Lets just hope Orient was a one off blip and the trend won't be continued on Saturday. A bit early in the season to see any sort of form either for ourselves or the opposition. Just say we will win this one. COYG
Will Ryan Lowe stay with this defence.....8 goals in four games given away.....okay, we've scored 8 goals as well...won 2...lost 2. Michael Cooper hasn't done too badly in his roll as No1 keeper....at the moment he hasn't really got a challenger....McCormick might be needing an operation...so he is on the sidelines for awhile....Jack Ruddy has been brought in as cover....only that I believe. Aimson... now he is fully fit is looking good.....Watts is young and just finding his feet....Wootton has played reasonable well....but has always got a mistake just around the corner.....the alternative is to give Canavan a start or two.....Sawyer's injury isn't so bad as thought...but it's taking awhile to mend. Of the younger players he has Ryan Law....Jarvis Cleal has mysteriously disappeared....and Ollie Tomlinson has gone to Barnstaple for a month. So Lowe I think will stick with Aimson, Wootton & Watts....with Canavan being an alternative for Wootton maybe. In mid-field will Lowe stick with Grant assuming he's fit...or go with Camara...who I think will one day be first choice once he learns the roll expected of him...he certainly is no slouch...he does seem to be able to motor a bit....Maybe Ben Reeves will be given a go off the bench soon ...when he's up to speed. Up front it's between Jephcott, Hardie and Nouble...with Moore and Telford coming on....plus young Lolos trying to break into the mix. I feel that a draw is the least we should expect from this game.
I think if fit, he must stick with Aimson and Watts for the time being. Last season, the absence of ball-playing centre backs meant he had to adapt his preferred possession style with a territorial game based accurate long passes into space, not to be confused with aimless balls lumped up in the air. If that's what he wants, he can't go back to Wootton, Canavan and Sawyer as his first picks although Canavan and Wootton are interchangeable in the centre centre back position. In Lowe we must trust. For the time being.
Does anyone know if we can get this on iFollow? Seems crazy if not, even if the money goes to Wimbledon, it's money in the game at a crucial time.
This question has been asked on pasoti....and the only answer I've seen is NO....only the home clubs fans seem to be getting it. Someone asked if anyone had received their setting code yet.....and someone said you don't get it...because it's an away game. Maybe If Lyndy is reading this... he might confirm one way or the other
If I'd only waited an hour............... https://www.pafc.co.uk/news/2020/september/afc-wimbledon-vs-argyle-faqs/ Yes you can purchase the stream but season ticket holders do NOT get access free, just as they wouldn't get a physical away ticket free either. That has to be right: Wimbledon benefit but we benefit from away viewers when we play at home.
It sounds as if Luke Jephcott might not be available for the Wimbledon game tomorrow......still a problem with his thigh injury and Lowe will check it out with his staff in the morning.
M Cooper, Aimson, Wootton, Watts, Edwards, Grant, MacLeod, Mayor, G Cooper, Nouble, Hardie. Subs Canavan, Telford, Moore, Lolos, Ruddy, Law, Camara. So Lowe shows faith in his defence.
