They spanked us last season and were romping to promotion so that's enough reason to hate them. We need revenge. I actually thought this might have been postponed until I saw they played on Saturday. Bring it on................. COYG
I have a grudge against Swindon for the infamous Magic Roundabout if that's any good. Don't make delicious sausages either. Don't watch this for too long if you are of a nervous disposition.
I think that's quite cool. It's a bit like roulette for cars but with a touch of the Russian version thrown in. Be great living in one of those houses you can see next to it. Hours of free entertainment.
The talk is that Swindon's manager Richie Wellens is about to be announced as the new Salford manager....will he be at the match tonight....who knows.
M Cooper, Watts, Opoku, Aimson, Moore, Edwards, Mayor, Fornah, Camara, Hardie, Jephcott. Subs Ruddy, Canavan, Nouble, Telford, Reeves, Grant, G Cooper.
H/T Argyle...Jephcott...6mins...23mins....Edwards...7......3-2.....Swindon...Grant...10mins...Hope...23mins. Smith red card in the 45+4 mins Two poor defences.....and one poor Ref.....couldn't keep his yellow card in his pocket.....and thenhe got his
What a goal from Conor Grant! That boy only scores worldies. Look, we don't have defenders. We have deep lying stealth attackers. Isn't working as well away from home but here we are, nearly a quarter of the season gone, sitting 8th with a game in hand on some. I'll take this any day.
Grant adds one more with a fantastic free kick. Argyle...4-2...Swindon.....F/T Spent the whole match unfreezing my picture every minute or so....missed three goals. That was bleddy hard work (for me).....disappointing that they really didn't take the game by the scruff of the neck against 10 men MoM by far....Camara.
Sounds weird I know but I think we missed a shed load of sitters and the finishing was poor. Some of our players seem more intent on passing the ball to their keeper than into the net and a more realistic score line should have been something like 9 - 5. About the Red card. It was obviously for dissent. What the players seem to forget is that the Ref can hear you in a mostly empty stadium where he probably couldn't before in front of a crowd. Their man must have said something bad and the Ref obviously heard him. Plain stupid. They also must have noticed the Ref liked a card wave or two from the way the first half went. He was pretty consistent though. A win is a win though so we take it, bank it and move on.
Everyone agrees on Camara as MoM. Everything he's mentioned someone's being showing Run Forrest Run clips.....
Think his energy really shows through and he is definitely a tryer. His choice of pass sometimes leaves a bit to be desired and he is guilty of giving the ball away. Probably just about MOM for me despite the slight criticism. Mind you a fair few of ours gave the ball away cheaply at times. Not quite as bad as their defence mind. Twas exciting even if not a game for the purists.
Some on pasoti reckoned Opoku played a blinder....not sure about that....there was a few moments in the first half... you wondered if the three back players were still in the changing room.
Wasn't too far out on my prediction but would gladly have given a tenner for 3pts at the start. COYG.
