Match Day Thread versus Shrewsbury

Think this one is one we probably need to win. Saying that because Saturday's results could have been better for us even if they weren't a disaster. 3 wins and I think we cross the line for sure.

Shrewsbury have been a bit up and down for a while now. No run of form exactly but have scraped results at times. Not sure why but I think this one will seem a lot easier than our last couple. Just the sort we fold in. Hope not and we go back on a little run again just to put the mind at ease.

After watching the weather forecast for tomorrow and still feeling half crocked I have reluctantly decided not to go and sit for several hours in the wind wet and cold. Not worth going back to square one just for a game of football. I am beginning to get withdrawal symptoms now having missed the last one as well.

I think the weather is going to level the playing field tonight. It is not nice out there right now although the wind has dropped away a bit. Good job the pitch drains almost as fast as the water falls on it. Otherwise I could see an abandonment which would have been on the cards in the old days. I have a stand in for tonight who is a bit of a lucky charm. Old fella hasn't seen Argyle lose this season so far. Or as my son says one grumpy old git replacing another grumpy old git.
