Here we go for a run of games which could be special or the end of the road for the play offs. What could possibly go wrong......
Form wise this one should be our's but if only it were that simple. We have won 3, drawn 1 and lost 1. They haven't won any in 5.

So have the wheels come off for Scunthorpe since we played them early in the season at home. We got dicked that day losing 0 - 4 so we owe them a thrashing big time. Player sent off that day but that was one of many in that period. I don't remember the game that well to be honest so can't think they were 0 - 4 better than us on the day. Also don't remember them as the best or even near best side we have faced. I think Scunthorpe have escaped with results quite a few time this season and somehow managed to hang on in there until now. Not to say I'm taking anything for granted because I know that one of two Argyle teams can turn up on a given day. Until Friday we had looked a bit average in a few games but then seemed to turn it on again and the Argyle of old came back.

We owe them a kicking so lets go get em lads.

Pitch inspection at 1115 - lots of overnight rain and now snowing.

Heavy waterlogged pitch not conducive for Argyle's passing style.....Carey and Lameiras will be happy that the game is off, maybe for the best.

Just need Peterborough, Charlton and Portsmouth to drop points now....to strengthen our position.

I assume PAFC have insurance to cover postponed games such as this....especially travelling up the day before and staying overnight.

Good match for you to miss Lyndy.

Just about sums up this weekends weather doesn't it. I am totally fed up with it now it's been far too long since it was even halfway decent.

With Scunthorpe recently sacking manager Graham Alexander and Assistant Manager Neil McDonald leaving as well....a postponement against fellow play-off opponents Argyle is probably a good move....allowing them more time to bring in a new management team.
You wonder why they didn't cover their vulnerable soggy ground don't you ?....lots of rain over the weekend plus today and the possibility of snow as well.
10am picture showed it uncovered with laying water visible......looks devious to me.....and maybe a thousand Pilgrims already half way there....shoddy way to treat fans if that is the case.

My son asked me if I wanted to go with him to the Rotherham game down the Valley....but I preferred to stay at home and follow the Argyle game on the computer and telly (if there's anything on the box)......didn't cross my mind yesterday that the game might be in danger of being called off.

Looks like either a cock-up by Scunthorpe or a manipulation....

Guess we will be out of the play off places by 5pm then. Not shocked particularly as they must be odds on to win that game before it kicked off. See first one was following set piece after "Maddison" was fouled. That's Maddison the Diver by the way. Still working for them then.

Nothing to see here.......unless Scunny somehow conspired with Donny and Bradford to get all three games off. I am led to believe that covers wouldn't have made a blind bit of difference as they would have been under water too. I think the ref is Blackpool based and left at a reasonable time.

Just one of those unfortunate things......there is always an upside though, and I should be able to go to the replay!
