If the last half a dozen have been must win then this one must be must win times 100. Oh the nerves............. COYG
We have a good chance for this one.....PNE have two draws and four defeats in their last six games and are in free fall.....they have 49pts at present and should be alright.
We are nowhere near safe, if we match Luton's result on Saturday then we will be, this is a six pointer
Stop panicking Mr Mainwaring (themaclad)...you'll be ok....we're the ones panicking....even if we beat you we will have Leeds at home in our last game. Our record is better recently against teams higher in the league than the teams around us at the bottom.....our FA Cup run also suggested that....beating two premier teams ( Brentford away and Liverpool at Home) and giving Man C a scare before losing 3-1. Our massive season long injury list has not helped our cause at all....(well over a hundred player availability days lost to injury).but that's life.
It all depends which Argyle turns up. The one that put 5 past Millwall, beat Sunderland, Brentford, West Brom, Liverpool, Coventry and Sheffield United or the one that conceded 4 to Sheffield Wednesday, 5 to Cardiff, 4 to Bristol City, 6 to Norwich and 4 to Coventry. The good news we've been better since Christmas than before it. There must be a reason for that....... One thing we haven't suffered is a loss of support. It's difficult to spot empty seats for every game. Coventry's support on Saturday was admirable: looked as if they'd taken up the full allocation and made a lot of noise before the game. Once we got started, they were absolutely drowned out though. The relationship between the players and staff and the crowd remains very positive and very strong.
I just watched the pre-match press conference (Darko Gyabi and Mirom Muslic). It seems Maxi won't start, not because he can't, but because Muslic is happy with how the Pleggy, Katic & Palsson combination performed against Coventry. I think that's the right approach, we were pretty solid and none of them deserve to be dropped just to make way for him. What did become clearer is that Maxi may come on for Tijani if the latter can't last the 90 minutes. Muslic said Tijani wanted to stay on on Saturday but Muslic made the decision to bring him off as a precaution after a long injury and to make sure he was available for tomorrow. Maxi at No 9. That I would pay to see.
Hazard, Mumba, Pleguezuelo.Szucs, Hardie, Bundu, Gyabi, Randell, Katic, Tijani, Palsson. Subs Grimshaw, Ogbeta, Houghton, Edwards, Wright, Boateng, Baidoo, Issaka, Talovierov. Edwards and Talovierov on the bench and Puchacz not in the squad. 3pts or relegation.
Luton 1-0 Coventry in the 89th minute The Coventry keeper makes an horrible error to gift Luton’s goal.

It finishes 1-0. Hull v Derby is now key: a draw is what we need. Our task remains the same: 6 points from 2 games.
Actually, we’re down aren’t we? The most we can make is 49 points, which Hull, Preston, and Luton already have. Therefore, short of an avalanche of goals in our favour, as well as us taking 6 points and none of those three taking any, we go down on goal difference.
