I got my wish and they sacked Evans. Hurray!!! Then they employed Ferguson. Booo!!! I had a look back on the board to the last thread involving Darren and it was the versus Doncaster one. The one where he stated Referees should be shot and none of them were fit enough for the job. I made some comments about him always moaning and groaning about officials and stuff. So this Saturday will be the meeting of two well loved fellows who will be able to have a belly ache competition after the game because since that thread I think our own manager has joined the whingers. Not only that but they clearly love each other as well.

As for the game itself........well they ought to win this one given league positions but of course that never won a game on it's own. Which team will turn up this week? I thought we had turned a bit of a corner with that question but after the last one I don't think we quite have yet. We will need to be at it from the start. If we aren't then I think we will get a defeat. However, if we do put in a shift that we can then we can win it. Most would probably settle for a point for this one but I want three not one. So, go to it lads, silence Darren and make him spit.

Peterborough's home record isn't as good as their away form.....they've only won 5 times at home which is less than Argyle (6).

We could get something from this game....but Argyle need to bring their 'A' game to this match.

Weather/pitch report from P'boro is that they fully expect everything to be okay for tomorrow.

Or Carey in the midfield 3 and Lamerias, Taylor and Ladapo up front....

I'm doing better with Ladapo on the right in FIFA 19 than through the middle!

4:4:2 apparently, midfield diamond matching Peterborough, Fox at the base, Lameiras at the point.

You forgot they are down to 10 men plym. Not sure what to make of the first half stats to be honest. I thought the Ref was going for the foul record at the start but apart from that it doesn't look as if either side has been that troubled.

Bit of wrestling between Tomlin and Edwards as the latter blocks the former from a through ball.

Ref arrives on the scene to adjudicate but Tomlin gets up and pushes a retreating Edwards over right under ref's nose. Silly, silly boy.

Would be good if Argyle could actually get something on target today.

Cross from Argyle's right is half cleared by Peterborough, but only to Lameiras on the RH edge of the box. Bad mistake. Lameiras curls it up, over the defenders and into the left hand side of the net.

Up to 16th and now clear of the bottom 4 notwithstanding that some of them have a game in hand.

As they say, nothing better in football than a last minute goal for a 1-0 away win.

Their guy deserved to be sent off for sheer stupidity. All's fair in love & football.

This manager thing is easy. Give them a simple instruction "get one on target" and there you have it. Was beginning to think it wasn't going to happen. Good points that. Poor old Darren will be livid.

To be fair, he's livid every week "dark bluish grey in colour". Too much red wine like his old Dad.
