I've been reading the comments of the Oldham manager manking about how far his little cherubs have to travel this Saturday and it being so close to Daddy Christmas calling as well. I've also been reading that Argyle fans will have to travel further than any other football fans in the Country if they go to the next 2 games and pay more than any other fan of the 92 clubs in the football league. I'm so shocked at that information aren't you? I mean fancy little old Argyle having that stat against it this Christmas. The fact it has been thus for bleddy years seems to pass some by. Stop fecking moaning Oldham because you have little to moan about.

As for the match well I can't find much to say about Oldham after that so I just hope upon hopes we send them home on Saturday with nothing to show for their whinning. COYG stuff em for christ sake.

p.s. It still won't be easy though despite the above.

Feeling confidant for this one (but then again its Friday night so I always do!) . Think it might be a quite comfortable 3-0 followed up by a boxing day win that will see us above the relegation zone. A bit of a funny one, but will loads turn up because there is no more football until NY day?, or will everyone be Christmas shopping?. I predict a crowd close to 10K.

I know we should concentrate on what we do and not what others do but have to say tonight's scoreline could have been better for us. Hope it's not going to be one of those weekends.

Fear not. I don't fancy Northampton, AFC Wimbledon or Doncaster's chances today. Main thing is that we get a result.

Threlkeld returns, Taylor-Sinclair doesn't make the bench, presumably through injury.

Jervis and Grant chopped after poor performances last week. Carey amd Lameiras wide with Songo, Fox and Diagouraga in a three or some variation thereon.

Lameiras plays against the team he was thought to be joining. Tactics or marketing?

Exactly as I predicted, Northampton are 1-0 against Blackburn at half time. May have to edit my earlier comment out in a minute.

Lovely goal. Yann to Toums, who fell down, but still got the ball to Taylor. Knock back to Fox and a lovely ball over the top. Carey ran though, and lobbed the goalkeeper rushing out to him. 2-0, and only just over five minutes played. #pafc

I'm having a shower now. Expect 4-0 by the time I get out.

Half-time. Argyle 2-0 up, thanks to goals inside the first six minutes from Toums and Carey. And have played, very, very well since. Very easy on the eye. Might be the best 45 this season so far. Job not done yet, though. Oldham a decent side. We need to see this out. #pafc

Oldham switch from back 3 to back 4 at half time after a torrid 45 minutes. Two up front also, a different proposition for Argyle to deal with.

Bad news, we conceded a goal (from a corner again).

Good news, we've scored three. Three goals, I say we've scored three goals, boy.
