The Ref for this one has issued 140 yellow cards with 3 reds this season so far. Why us?

Cooper, Watts, Law, Tomlinson, Fornah, Edwards, Reeves, Camara, Mayor, Hardie, Ennis.

    Subs
McCormick, Moore, Lolos, Jephcott, Pursall, Mitchell, Craske.

    Starts for Reeves, Law, Tomlinson.

Jephcott on the bench...if he comes on....this could be his 19th consecutive game without a goal....or will he score ?

    1-0...H/T.....Oliver 28mins.

Lengthy injury...with head clash...to Watts who was stretchered off after 12 mins....standard Argyle performance so far.....Oliver two yards out heads into net....all alone unmarked.....as I said standard Argyle.

Failed to pick up the runner for the cross.. same old defensive misjudgement ruining an otherwise decent performance against a brutish Steve Evans side.

    1-0...F/T

Another bog standard Argyle away defeat.

    We cannot take corners.

Normal Cooper goal kick straight into touch...(one per match).

Shock horror Danny Mayor gets subbed.

    Evans looks fatter than ever.

McCormick given two minutes to complete his 350 game.

Gillingham looked more bored than we did.

Couldn't manage a draw then, very sad. We would never fathom out this season if we lived to a thousand years lol!
    Massive changes needed!
Pompey to look forward to if all allowed back later anyway.....

To be truthful, we looked more robust at the back with two Academy players than with two Premier League loanees. Well done Ryan Law and Ollie Tomlinson.

A lot of work required before next season.....what will Lowe do on Monday.....and who might want to move on anyway.

Could be a relegation season if Lowe still wants to play the same way....far too much space out wide behind the defence....today a good example...Oliver completely by himself at the far post.....and often attackers unmarked at corners at the far post

Only playing gung-ho style works if you can score more goals than the opposition.....and we've proved we can't score many goal any way....Jephcott literally no goals in the second half of the season.....19 blank games on the trot.....but Lowe has no idea how to solve it.

It seems from what Lowe said at the post match chat....that all the players know their fate on Monday already.

I'm not going to comment on today on the grounds that I might be far too upbeat for some. Suffice to say we were ok and some of the chances just didn't fall for us. We don't seem to get much luck of the bounce. We live to fight another day and no doubt will sign **** players for next season and Lowe will have even less of a clue. I'm sure there will be those willing to tell him at every stage though.

The goal wasn't lost at the far post, it was lost when Danny Mayor didn't follow the runner and let the cross come in.

I agree Sensible. We deserved at least a point. The ball just wouldn't drop for us in their box. Nobody played badly, the youngsters did well, Hardie and Ennis were a handful. MotM for me was Reeves. Good with the ball and not afraid to stick a foot in.

Nobody seems to have noticed we lost one of our defenders in the first 2 minutes today. That left us with 2 very inexperienced young players and Fornah who hasn't been playing in the back line this season. We let one goal in against a very experienced forward line who were quite robust in their approach. That's a shock isn't it. But, it's only making excuses of course and any excuse for a moan from the usual quarters.
