Come on you Greens.................oh hang on a minute which one............... First league meeting with this club and a new place for the away end to go. I have to say I'm a wee bit surprised how well they are doing for a first season in the football league although there have been a few others that have come up and surprised over recent years. They appear to be a very good side. This one is going to be tough. COYG (Argyle)
Not their first season sensible....they came 5th last season and were in the play-offs. Will they allow us to wear shirts advertising a meat product....seeing that FGR are owned by an extreme green life style plant eater......do their players get spied on to see if their eating meat products when away from the ground.
Don't know why I thought they came up last season but there you go. I never trust anyone who doesn't eat meat as a matter of course. It's why we have the teeth we do. Bleddy Vulcans.
Palmer, Edwards, Wootton, Canavan, Sawyer, McFadzean, Sarcevic, Josh Grant, Mayor, Moore, Joel Grant. Subs Michael Cooper, Riley, Telford, Taylor, Randell, George Cooper, Rudden.
Woo-woo....you and me share the goal time points musty and you get to watch it happen as well. Bonus.
Finally half time and we are still one up. Where did 6 minutes extra time come from? Have we turned into Wycombe................
Nah. No sweat we won this easily one nil. Very good result this one. Happy bunny signing off for me tea.
Lunch time here for me. Worth getting up early for. getting nearer that play off area. Home to Bradford next weekend. Brother back from the States.
Prawn salad for me this evening..................Mmmmmm!! Still a happy bunny with this result. Stats weren't that good for either side but as I've always said stats win nothing unless it's goals for. Back to Home Park next weekend. This seems to be a really strange season so far of stop start stuff. I feel as if I've not been to a match in months. I need my fix. (and a couple of pints after of course)
Long queue of Argyle supporters trying to get into the ground through only two turnstyles.....some having to wait for 15 minutes to get in...and missed the start of the game....FGR have outgrown Nailsworth.....the village was supposed to be gridlocked for up to an hour after the match.
