Match Day Thread versus Crewe

Another early post as it's the opening fixture to give you plenty of time to mull things over.

Historically over the last 2 seasons we haven't started our league performances until Christmas. I certainly hope that this season gives us a break from that even if it is exciting later. What kind of season will be our's this time? There is a huge amount of enthusiasm and expectation around currently given the numbers who wanted Lowe as our Manager. Is it misplaced or is it justified is the $64m Dollar question. I guess we will soon see. Not been an overly great preseason but then again does it have to be. I watched the defence against Bristol Rovers and have to say I'm still a bit in fear.

Hey Mr, Sensible i will be there for the Tuesday night leyton game.

 

Now that is a pity. Not because you will be here but because I won't. Off to Gibraltar end of next week for a week with family. Damn.

 

No worries i will be over again for the Exeter game next March.

 

Well 24 teams with high expectations at 12.30/3pm....how many will meet reality by 5pm and face a tough season of survival.....lets hope our defence turns up.
