So, the footbally peoples have us down as odds on for promotion as champions. If only life were that simple and it wasn't a dream you have to wake up from. I don't want people promoting us with less than half the season gone. It is bound to end in disappointment. Anyway yet another away game. The Ref for this one is another one promoted from the Football League last term who is clearly a bit on the card happy side. I don't like it when we have that kind of Ref. Going on our respective league positions it is obvious we can win this one despite all of the injury worries we have. Burton though have improved a bit from their god awful season start but still sit a the bottom end of the table. I'm going to have to go for a win for the Greens though.

3:4:2 with Cosgrove & Whittaker up front.

6 mins played, scruffy so far.

Wrong about the formation: we’ve got Randell
as the left “No 10” and that’s not working.

Pretty scrappy throughout: Argyle not finding it possible to play their stuff.

Goal came from a melee following a corner: good strike in the end from wide of the RH post into the roof of the net.

    Poor from Argyle so far.

Well a different Argyle came out in the second half and we saw some of what we can really do.

A definite penalty and a cracker from Mumba nearly won the 3 points but a very large Burton side scrapped in an undeserved equaliser after an extended game of head tennis in Argyle’s box. This took place in the 7th minute of 6 minutes added on.

Feels very much 2 points lost now.

Miller got 7 minutes and showed his electrifying running. Ref was poor: Oshilaja could well have been sent off in the 17th minute

Poor first half and to be fair we probably deserved to go in one down. Not that Burton were great but we were that bad. In effect they bullied us and we let them.

Second half was a complete turn around. We were chucking everything at them and gradually the goal was coming. Penalty given and for me it was nailed on. After that there was only going to be one winner or so it seemed. Up pops Mumba and scores a beauty. That was deserved and we were in virtual total control. This is where it went wrong and not because the Ref added extra time to the extra time. Their Keeper came up for the corner they had. We won the ball and it was cleared to Hardie in acres of space. So what does he try to do........score before the Keeper got back. He ballsed that up good and proper. What should he have done........ran with the ball as fast as he could to the far corner of the pitch and hold it there for as long as possible. Very poor judgement on his part. I do not know where the Ref got 6 minutes from in the first place but having given it we did a sub part way into it so there was always going to be more added to that.

Not for the first time we threw a game away in the dying seconds. Do they have a switch off button when it comes to the final minute? I don't care what the BBC write up says I don't think Burton deserved the draw at all but draw they got nonetheless. As for fieldmarshal above, all I will say is how did you do against Charlton in the 90+ minute of that game.

So, Sensible, out of concern for your mortal soul, and in the knowledge that confession and repentance of sin is good for the soul, have you been watching football on Sky Sports?
