Will this one be on, will we still have a manager, will the players finally turn up.........tune in to the next episode of Soap ( do you remember that tv programme?).

I am not going to say anything about this match on the basis that it will only give SMH an opening shot and he is doing far too well on the prediction league with Argyle predictions as it is.

It's going to be interesting. Nance and Joe Edwards in charge. The players had better give 100% or they'll need ear-defenders before approaching the dug-out.

Baidoo at ground to sign ?

BUT unfortunately no Gibson because he's going to Middlesboro....that's a disaster if true.

Just watched the highlights. Their first goal was absolutely 100% offside. Once again the lino on the lyndhurst was behind play and half asleep. We have been let down this season so many times by officials. I'm thinking of lodging an objection for the prediction threat and claim my 2 - 1 result.

Not sure it was offside. Wells was easily onside when the ball was played through, so Memehti couldn’t have been flagged offside, even though he was furthest forward, the pass from Wells to Memehti looked dead level with the naked eye, only the VAR lines could say for sure.
It evens out, as it was never a foul for the free kick that led to the equaliser in added time.

Have a look at the Sky match highlights. He was in front of the player when he was passed to. 100% offside in anyone's book so if you want to kid yourself then please feel free.

    Let’s do the good bits:
    1. A new formation. Just guess. Three centre backs, of which we have several, and wing backs.
    2. Also Whittaker in the middle of an attacking three between Al Hajj and Gyabi. This morphed at various times.
    3. Best of the season individual performances from Whittaker, Al Hajj and Sorinola.
    4. Cissoko played the last 20 minutes without event. Showed he can still be an absolute pain in the backside for the opposition.
    5. Pleggy. Scored with a swipe off his studs. He learnt that a Barcelona. Also kicked one of theirs almost into orbit in the second half after a contretemps and got away with it. Such things are disgraceful of course and I deplore it aa we all do :emoticon-0100-smile. Anyway, he learnt it at Barcelona.
We kicked off again and Bristol hardly got into our half for 15 minutes. We deserved to go in at halftime like Sadiq Khan deserves a knighthood.

What’s utterly infuriating is that their goal was blatantly influenced by an offside player. He’s yards offside on their left when the ball comes through. Yes, the ball doesn’t go to him but he’s pulled the defence out of shape, The ball goes to an onside player in the middle who then passes to the previously offside guy who scores.

I wouldn’t mind so much but at a virtually identical situation at 87 minutes Cissoko IS ruled offside. Absolutely disgraceful.

As usual, the second half was more even but we battled on to get the point. We should have had more though, because of the offside decisions but also because we have got to finish these things off while we’re on top. In the final analysis, two points dropped.

I see the conversation above about offside. As with handball and a few other things, the current rules are a joke

Interfering with play he certainly was. As a wise man said, if you aren’t interfering with play, you shouldn’t be on the pitch. And we had an identical one given against us late on. If you’re going to make idiotic decisions, do so consistently.

Nope for the goal notdistant. When the scoring player receives the ball he is clearly in front of the passing player. Have a look at the Sky highlights. When you are down the bottom and fighting for survival the only luck you ever get is bad luck.

I should have added don't just look at the first showing of the play, let it run on to the replay. They clearly show the offside there and it is absolutely nailed on.

MotM for me was Whittaker. Not back to his very very best but much more difficult to pin down in the middle than isolated out on the touchline.

I’ve only seen it live from LHS of the Demport End Sensible. The first guy was so far offside you could see it from space and for me that’s enough. If the second phase was off too I can’t be sure but to me it shouldn’t have got that far.

The first guy had pulled the defence that way and that’s interference.
