Verminator out for 3 weeks

Thomas Vermaelen has been sidelined for 2-3 weeks following the match with QPR. He is out with a calf strain. According to Wenger it's not too serious but will probably not feature against Leeds. Will this force Wenger into the transfer market? Is it a blessing in disguise?

 

If the 'blessing' is Wayne Bridge then we're in trouble. I'd rather have Traore back there.

 

I would rather the blessing was Taiwo tbh. One can dream?

 

What about Capdevilla? Is he available? Last I heard he moved to Benfica and it wasn't working our for him at all.
