I just wondered what we all think about him as he has hardly played.
I suppose we will keep him (because who would buy him) but will he figure next year? It is a strange situation all in all and not sure where it goes, does anyone have a view or some inside information because it would be like having a new player if he was to be fit for 2012/13.

He is apparently training and close to fully fit! I would guess PL will not feature him this season, but will give him the close season to work on his fitness level!

There is no doubt if he can stay fit he will add hugely to our strike force!

from the little I have seen of him think we would be a couple of places higher in the table if we had his speed and skill available so get fit soon sir we need you!

I've liked what little I have seen of him and having spent, in Norwich City terms, a lot of money for him PL is hardly likely to give up on him just because of one injury strewn season. He will probably be a prominent feature next year but I wouldn't be surprised to see Jackson and/or Morrison go if somebody offers good money for them and I will be very surprised if Wilbs is given another contract and Chris Martin is not sold.

I was talking to a long time Everton fan over here at the weekend (well connected with the club & Bill Kenwright), he reckons David Moyes & co were pleased to be shot of him!

Based on what little we have seen of him I was not totally surprised by that comment. I must admit I fear the worst for the player and perhaps we are never likely to get many games out of him but still think it was a risk worth taking.

After recent performances wilbs could well get a new contract. Probably just one year though
