The sooner it’s gone, The better. I’m not a fan of it at all, it takes too much time to make a decision, Mata’s goal is onside for me, I don’t care if his knee was in the way, It should’ve stood.
Not looked at it but if his knee is offside then he’s offside. You’ll want it next time when United get a goal due to it. Not a fan of VAR though myself. Too much faff.
Too much ****ing has damaged your sight. Get a girlfriend before it's too late. Top tip of the day. No charge.
If VAR was as effective as Hawk-Eye then I'd be all for it. Unfortunately there are too many variables which makes it difficult to see how it can be implemented correctly.
I'm not a fan of any technology guiding decisions in the game, but i know im in a very small minority in an ever changing face of football.
Not a fan but I don't get how you can say "He's onside for me, I don't care if his knee is view" If his knee is off then he's off surely? Not a fan of VAR in general though for plenty of reasons.
I don't mind the goal line as it's exact, there's no subjectivity to it and it's a factual yes or no with no debate. Sack the rest of the ****ing ****e off though.
You think he misspelt your name? Mate we have been calling you Metth for the best part of 5 years, it's your nick name. I will say it once more, like I have been telling you for years, the reason the name stuck is because you whinge when people call you it. Had you shut up the first time around, it probably would have died a death.
Oh and VAR should be utilised to make sure **** gets done right. It will take a while to streamline the procedure and get it running right, but ultimately making sure the right calls are made can only be a good thing. There is no bad that can come of that, so not really sure why anyone would have issue with it. Every other sport utilises it in some form, to great success.
Disagree completely, it could be completed ruin the game if it takes too long with constant breaks. Ruins the emotion of a goal too if every ****ing one gets reviewed. The Liverpool West Brom game was a ****ing farce. Its also nonsense to compare it to other sports as most are stop start unlike football with more natural breaks. There is also the issue of a lot of decisions being subjective so you'll get different decisions being made each week.
VAR is a good idea but who the **** is running it? Needs a strong character to look at the Mata one and to tell the referee straight away whether he's off or not. How the **** BT were showing wonky lines I have no idea. They got to the bottom of it but it took a good minute or two when it should be a case of "show me the linesman's angle .... show me the straight lines..... yep his knee is offside. No goal". 20 seconds max.
Thats what I mean, it will get streamlined and get quicker once everyone gets to grips with it. Its just teething issues right now. Dont agree at all that actually enforcing the rules correctly will ruin the game, that's just complete BS.
since hardly anyone including the refs knows the offside rule & those that do think it is no longer fit for purpose that is a big shout. On the offside rule has anyone any idea how they are doing the "straight" lines used to make the decision as i struggle to believe that these are exactly at 90 degrees and therefore in the Mata case as it was so close they should say no definitive proof therefore stay with onfield decision. Oh in case you hadn't realised VAR - no thanks.
