It ruined the World Cup final and now tonight it has made a farce of the Champions League.
I don’t begrudge Man U but no way was that a penalty. The ref didn’t give it in real time and as far as I’m concerned that’s it.

Even ferdinand was arguing it wasn't a penalty. I suppose he had the win by then though.
I can see what they were saying, jumped with his arms up. Soft penalty.
I thought VAR could only overturn things if it was clear and obvious. Took a lot of looking at and then there were differences of opinion. Therefore not clear and obvious.

Exactly, the longer they look at it the more doubt there is.
 
its a tragic state of affairs only introduced for the tv audience..........tv loves a drama hey

I also feel the ref gave a corner that was his take on things and the players seemed fine with the call...........the worry for me is the true fans like ourselves who attend matches which have seen many a dodgy decision against us by referees and dealt with it are no longer the fan that football needs 2 please>>>>>>>the sofa bloaters is where the money is.

I thought it was brought in to stop the howlers like in Cricket, if you're going to allow every little thing to be decided by TV then there is no need of a ref on field.

Who the hell are we going to shout at then ?
