Apparently the stories about RVP's house being up for sale are rubbish.Apparently he's just bought a new home and yes it is in London
Will you please stop littering this board with positive threads, or I will be forced to merge this one with the hundreds of other positive ones
Well actually, If he's just bought a new house chances are that the stories about his last house being up for sale where in fact true.
The original stories about his house apparently being for sale were not true because he had apparently sold the house that was apparently for sale
Im all for being positive and want RVP to stay, but i think we should wait and see what happens in the next few months. One thing i know with our players of recent is, until they've signed on the dotted line, they have one foot out the door........
I think RVP is trying to say that he has both feet firmly inside the door. Certainly for now anyway. In the past he has called for Wenger to sign top players, and to be honest, RVP deserves to be playing alongside the best.
I think this season will have a big influence on the future of players like RVP. He does deserve to be playing CL football, especially as he is approaching the latter years of his career. Personally, I still think we'll finish in the top 4 and Robin Van Persie will be playing CL football with Arsenal next season.
I really don't think moving home for a multi-millionaire player has ANYTHING to do with his intention to stay with a given club. a non-story.
He said it last season and said it again about Wenger buying more players. Now im not questioning his committment as he clearly loves the club. But do we really expect an Elite player like RVP to stay if we end outside the top 4? As Bergkamp a Dutch master said, he is too good to play for a team that plays outside the top 4. In the meanwhile, he is looking hot and giving 100% to the cause. I really do think he wants to drag us up again. But a team isn't made up for 1 person, the other senior players need to contribute like Arshavin, Rosicky, Arteta etc......
Buying another house in London means he won't be moving to Spain or Manchester as many have said, he'll be going to Chelsea instead......
As Bergkamp a Dutch master said, he is too good to play for a team that plays outside the top 4. WHAT !!!!!! - where did I say that?
