Great performance by your new guy, totally carried you to a win. Great signing. It just goes to show the true level of Wayne Rooney, he would never have pulled ye out of that mess yesterday. RvP Already paying for himself.. you ****s
Wayne can still chip in with a few goals, which makes him more useful than the entire liverpool strtikeforce combined.
Rooney's not a bad back up striker to have on the bench. It's important to have decent back up strikers, any **** knows that.
There are three ways to look at that. One is that Rooney wouldn't have pulled those last minute goals out of the hat. Two is that Rooney would have created those goals for someone else, as he did against Norwich and others last season. Usually without waiting for the last minute. Three is that Rooney would have helped us put the tie to bed long before we got into that situation, as he did against Liverpool, City (FA Cup), Spurs, QPR, West Brom, Fulham, Sunderland and any number of teams last season. But I'm sure you've made an objective judgement based on the facts, with no regards for your own personal views on the subject
The buying of RVP was not just about getting us more goals. It showed that United could get the top players and this was an important message to other clubs. It also meant that Rooney does not think his place in any match is guaranteed. When and if he is off key, the replacement strikeforce will be good enough. We should be able to compete against the top clubs both here and abroad. Last season, there was a period when if Rooney was not playing we were definite underdogs. RVP will change that. Just a shame we only brought RVP for the last few minutes of the Everton game.
Or over the age of 65. This. Suarez, Reina and Gerrard have shown what happens when a player knows their position is guaranteed.
Cause rival fans point to an accusation back in Holland years ago that he raped a woman despite the same woman admitting he didn't and she made the accusation up for publicity.
You got a bit lucky there with the new dutch coach saying Huntelaar is better suited for them, and would be selected ahead of him. Most of his later injuries were on some bullshit friendlies or qualification games for Netherlands.
RVP is class up front but Rooney is much more than a goal scorer, which he was last season. Rooney is the fulcrum to every United's attack, and with Van Persie in the team, just like when we had CR, Berba in the beginning, Tevez at times, and Chica in first season, we will see how good Rooney is, this year. Obv. needs to be fit first.
